SHF is looking for an active and friendly people-person who values excellent customer service and experience, and can manage the process of the Client Service Department. The ideal candidate must be adaptable, able to think on their feet, and navigate efficiency between sale at the retail level, and the timeous delivery from an operational level.

Key Functions:
  • Build customer relations, be involved, support and encourage customer interaction;
  • Assess, establish, and manage effective communication in a manner that promotes the brand;
  • Provide support, encouragement and motivation to deliver on results;
  • Formulate relationships with SHF stakeholders; namely Distribution, Suppliers and Galleries;
  • Ensure that sales orders and production lead times are followed up on, and Gallery Leaders are updated at all times;
  • Ensure Overdue reports, Purchase Orders, Sales Orders and delivery reports are managed daily;
  • Transact all business activity, maintain data integrity, and ensure all customer feedback is recorded and documented on Bluebox;
  • Manage customer payments by ensuring processing and funds reflect on the customer accounts;
  • Take ownership of all orders, queries, follow up’s and complaints arising in your department and provide feedback on possible shortcomings;
  • Keep Gallery Leaders informed of potential complaints based on stock shortfalls and delays.
Skills and Attributes:
  • Minimum of two years managerial experience;
  • Experience working in the home décor and quality furniture industry;
  • Above average administrative skills with exceptional organizational ability to manage warehose staff;
  • A strong work ethic, reliable with meticulous attention to detail.
